NextGenFinance is composed of a group of Canadians that have taken a keen interest in personal finance. We have spent countless years learning the most effective and efficient ways to build wealth for Canadians. Through our search, we came to the realization that the recipe to becoming wealthy has changed from that of our parents generation. The typical path of finding a stable job with a pension, buying a home, and retiring comfortably has become a difficult task.

Unfortunately, the prevailing view held amongst young Canadians is that reaching financial freedom is now impossible. It is viewed as a luxury reserved for those who were born into family wealth, or were lucky enough to win the lottery. We sympathize with this viewpoint… things have become very challenging financially.

Our aim with this website is to shift the control back into your hands. The good news is that the steps to reach financial stability, security, and lastly freedom are actually very simple (note: that we said simple…not easy). Money is a taboo topic to talk about in Canada, so the rich tend to keep their wealth creation process to themselves. However, having talked to enough wealthy people, we learned that wealth creation is completely achievable for anyone that is willing to learn and take actionable steps. We are here to cut through all the noise and offer our opinions on how to do finances the right way (think of us as the unofficial Canadian Finance for Dummies website).

By imparting our views on you, we hope that you can build wealth over the course of your life for yourself and your family.
